The Council Logo

The colour of the Sun represents brightness. It is a spark of brilliance which represents enthusiasm that the Student Council has for the welfare of the school and their environment. The Helm represents the Student Councillors’pledge to guide the School towards excellence. The Eight Spokes represent the eight important values adopted bythe Council: Moral Courage, Responsibility / Commitment, Integrity, Resourcefulness, Resilience, Loyalty, Humility and Being Team Players. The Centroid of the Helm represents the Unity of these Eight Core values. The Arms curving in opposite directions within the Helm emphasizes the arms which aim to lead and serve the Student Body. The Blue Planet stands for the Student Councillor’s environment as a whole (Student Body, Welfare for the Environment and Service for Mankind).

The Badge of Office

The Badge of Office is the sextant, which is an instrument used in the navigation of ships. It symbolizes mapping and planning the journey ahead of us, with the president taking the lead in this journey towards the unknown future.
